Chaffee County Habitat for Humanity & ReStore Chaffee County Habitat for Humanity is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Each home costs about $120,000, including the land.

Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman, and child should have a simple, decent, affordable place to live in dignity & safety. In Chaffee County families are chosen according to need, ability to pay, and willingness to partner in building their home. The home is sold to the family at no profit & no interest. Small grants, the generosity of our local community, and mortgage payments from local Habitat homes fund this worthwhile effort.
