📺 UPDATE: New Air Date for the Ark Valley Civics Bee Feature on PBS12

The PBS12 Studio 12 segment featuring the 2026 Ark Valley Civics Bee has been rescheduled and will now air on:

🗓 Tuesday, June 23
🕗 8:00 PM

We're excited that viewers across Colorado will still have the opportunity to see the incredible students, volunteers, judges, and community partners who made this year's event such a success.

The Ark Valley Civics Bee brought together local middle school students to demonstrate their knowledge of government, civic engagement, and community leadership. It was an inspiring day that showcased the bright future of our region.

Special thanks to the League of Women Voters Chaffee County, the Buena Vista Chamber of Commerce, and the American Legion for their partnership and support.

We're excited to share that PBS12 in Denver will be airing a segment on the Ark Valley Civics Bee during their Studio 12 program on Tuesday, June 16 at 8:00 PM.

Highlights from this year's event included:

Gold Rush Days is back in Buena Vista July 31 - August 2 with live music, vendor fairs, b***os races, street dance, and beer gardens.

Open to all, this family friendly weekend takes place all through BV including South Main with a b***o meet and greet on Friday night. Saturday brings live music, vendor fair, and beer garden fun to McPhelemy with more events scattered throughout town.
On Sunday, experience the world famous b***o races, more vendors, the hilarious toilet seat race, and a street dance to end it all.
