The District’s Governing Board and staff take great pride in serving the communities of Buena Park, La Palma, Anaheim, La Mirada and Fullerton. With a rich history dating back to 1890, the Buena Park School District has been a community center for student learning and child development for over a century. At Buena Park School District our staff is committed to providing our students a world class education. With over 250 fully credentialed teachers; a cadre of Nationally Board Certified Teachers; recognized early literacy experts; and highly trained paraprofessionals, we are proud to serve the community’s 5,300 kindergarten through eighth grade students. Our District theme: “Improving the Lives of our Students and Families” underscores our commitment to students; the work we proudly perform with our parents and extended families; and recognizes the enduring impact of our schools and staff as a cornerstone of the community.
