Lil’Bear Lil’Library This Little Free Library (LFL) is in Buda, Texas. Nolan, the LiBEARian, would love if you'd visit and find something to read. Books. Don't Speed. Stop and Read.

My husband built this fabulous LFL for me and gave it to me a s a Christmas present in 2017. For the most part, the top shelf is for adult titles and the bottom shelf is for children's titles. Nolan, the LiBEARian, is a chainsaw creation carved by R.L. Blair (with Doug Moreland's Cattlelacs Gallery in Manchaca, Texas). I chose the name Nolan from A Tree Grows in Brooklyn -- I wanted a literary nam

e, character who loves reading; I didn't feel this bear looked like a Francie and liked Nolan for his name. On weekends, I put out Burma Shae type signs -- I created the phrase and my husband designed the layout: Look.
