“Rather than accept that Ohioans are smart enough to figure out what is going on with data centers in the state and get angry about it, Congressman Bob Latta has come up with a brainchild to explain it all away and dismiss the real anger in the land.

What is his preposterous theory?

His theory is that opposition to data centers may not really be coming from Ohioans worried about, oh, I don't know, soaring electric bills, giant industrial facilities in their communities, water consumption, tax breaks and subsidies. Instead, he's asking the FBI to investigate whether foreign adversaries, particularly interests tied to China, are helping stir up that opposition as a way to slow American AI development.” 🙄

Get inspired… "Ask what you can do for your country."

Eight years ago, on the 75th anniversary of the rescue of Lt. (jg) John F. Kennedy and his PT 109 crew during World War II, I led a team of swimmers to the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific. We swam the four-mile route President Kennedy and the survivors had taken after an enemy destroyer sank their boat in the middle of the night in August 1943. We were honored to meet the families of the two rescuers.

I am just as honored this year to have received the following endorsement from a grandson of rescuer Eroni Kumana:
