Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary Bucyrus, OH The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary Funds raised locally as well as non-monetary donations are used to support those in need in the greater Bucyrus area.

As a Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary (SAWA) member, you will have the privilege of working with the location expression of a worldwide movement that seeks to improve the lives of men, women, and children in need. The Salvation Army believes in “meeting the need at the point of need”, so its advisory and auxiliary organizations are located right where the human needs and problems arise, in local c

ommunities and neighborhoods. The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary functions as a fund raising and volunteer service group that seeks to support The Salvation Army in its spiritual and social services to those it serves. We have had a great start to our Kettle Campaign. As of this past weekend (November 29th) we have raised approx. $15,600 of our $65,000 goal. We are grateful for the support from our community. The funds raised are used all year to help those in the Bucyrus community. There is still plenty of time to donate or schedule a time to ring. Now for the news you are all waiting for, this past Saturday at our Kroger location we had our first ever contest to see who has the most dedicated fanbase in Bucyrus and we are proud to say that not only did THE Ohio State win in Ann Arbor on the football field but our OSU Kettle raised more than the Michigan kettle!
