While we are your go-to for your moving image transfers and preservation, we always recommend Penobscot Marine Museum for all things still images. Here's a cool photo looking at Bucksport from Verona. If you magnify and look all the way to the left you will see our Alamo Theatre.

Newly rediscovered 1972 footage of Bucksport, Maine, the town Northeast Historic Film has called home for over thirty years! This footage (probably shot by Chuc Halsted) comes from an episode of the Maine Public Broadcasting Network show, “The Maine Issue”, from a surviving U-matic videotape copy that was recently baked and digitized.
