🍎 FREE BREAKFAST & LUNCH FOR ALL FOOTHILLS STUDENTS! 🍎

We have some great news for Foothills families! With the passing of House Bill 1238, Meals for Washington Students, all Foothills students can receive breakfast and lunch at NO COST for the 2026–27 school year! 🎉

There is one important thing we need from our families:

📝 Please complete a Meal Application by October 1.

Even though meals are free for all Foothills students, these applications are still very important. The information families provide helps determine our eligibility and funding so we can continue offering this program.

A few things to know:
• You only need to complete ONE application per family each year
• It takes less than 10 minutes
• All Foothills students can receive free breakfast and/or lunch
• Applications should be returned to Foothills by October 1, 2026
• Paper copies are also available in our front office

Mark your calendars! Our Ice Cream Social is Thursday, August 27, beginning at 4:00 PM. This is your opportunity to find out your child’s teacher, visit their classroom, meet their teacher, and enjoy some ice cream with our Foothills community!

Here’s what to expect:

🚪 Doors open at 4:00 PM. Please enter through the front doors.

📋 Find your child’s teacher
Class lists will be posted in the color wing for each grade level:

❤️ 1st Grade: Red Wing
💚 2nd Grade: Green Wing
💙 3rd Grade: Blue Wing
🧡 4th Grade: Orange Wing
🧡 5th Grade: Orange Wing

🗺️ Once you have your child’s classroom information, grab a map and head to the classroom to meet your child’s teacher!

🍨 Be sure to stop by the cafeteria for ice cream. While you’re there, you can also:
• Sign up for PTA
• Purchase a yearbook and Spiritwear
• Visit Transportation for bus information

We know everyone is excited to find out who their teacher will be! Class assignments will be available at the Ice Cream Social on August 27 at 4:00 PM.

We can’t wait to welcome our Falcons and families back to Foothills! 💙🧡
