Buckhorn is known for taking the toughest youth, building a program that works for that child, and sticking with them!

Buckhorn Children and Family Services is a faith-based, not-for-profit organization, committed to helping to heal vulnerable and at-risk children, adults, and families. Buckhorn staff believe in the power of healing. Our treatment philosophy is comprised of components that allow staff to assist our youth and their families in rebuilding their damaged lives. The Buckhorn Way includes:

Accepting client/family “where they are”;
Breaking barriers to actively engage families in treatment;
Providing a range of developmentally-appropriate interventions within a safe and supportive environment;
Focusing on interactions to develop positive motivation for change;

Collaborating within and beyond the Agency for the benefit of the client/family.
