September is Attendance Awareness Month, a time to recognize how important regular school attendance is to student success.

When students are in school consistently, they have more opportunities to:
✅ Learn and stay on track academically
✅ Build positive relationships with teachers and classmates
✅ Develop strong habits and routines
✅ Participate in activities and school experiences
✅ Reach their goals and graduate on time

Even a few days here and there can add up quickly. Being present today helps build success tomorrow.

Upshur County Schools is now accepting applications for virtual learning through Proximity!
The application window is open July 1 – August 1. Students wishing to participate in virtual learning for the upcoming school year must complete and submit an application during this period to be considered for enrollment.

Don't miss the deadline—apply by August 1 to be eligible for virtual learning this fall.
