We’re holding a Town Hall tomorrow, Tuesday, September 15th at 6:30 PM at The Event Center at Brushy Fork.

We would love for you to join us! This is an opportunity for residents of Buckhannon and Upshur County to get information about FEMA assistance, flood recovery, available resources, and what to expect moving forward.

🤝 Representatives will be available to answer your questions and provide information.

Can’t make it in person? We will be recording the Town Hall. Please send us your questions in advance to [email protected], and we will make sure they are shared with the officials attending.

🇺🇸 Remembering September 11, 2001 — 25 Years Later 🇺🇸

Twenty-five years have passed, but we will never forget.

Today, we remember the innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the families, friends, and communities forever changed by that tragic day.

We also honor the brave first responders—firefighters, police officers, paramedics, emergency workers, and ordinary people who ran toward danger when others were running away. Their courage, sacrifice, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

We remember the heroes who gave everything, those who survived and carried the memories with them, and the countless acts of kindness and unity that followed.

25 years later, we remember.
We honor.
We will never forget.
