New digital sign for the library! The Friends of the Upshur County Public Library helped to purchase this sign which alerts the community to ongoing activities and events at our phenomenal library! Enjoy being informed as you travel up and down Route 20!

The FRIENDS of the Upshur County Public Library are requesting your help to support our wonderful library. We are offering a Best of WV Basket raffle on a basket worth $1393. Tickets are on sale daily at the Circulation Desk at the library or each Friday at Festival Fridays until August 30 when the drawing will be held. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.

It’s that time of year again!

If you aren’t already a member we’d love to have you join our group. We think we have the best library on the planet and our group works hard to support it. You can be involved as much or little as you like.

Please support the “friend’s group” by submitting your dues by 4/1/24. Dues are $12 per year.

This is not a “Friends” basket raffle but supports the library regardless! Please support our wonderful library and purchase a ticket or two! Also, just a suggestion but stop in regularly to have a cup of coffee, choose your next read, and relax in the many provided seating areas provided by our wonderful gem of a regional library.

The Friends of the Library is still selling tickets to raffle off this basket of great goodies, like the board game, Upshur County Monopoly, a Yeti travel mug, and more! Drawing is on September 30th. Tickets are $1, or 6 for $5.

The Friends group is asking for donations of children’s books needed for the Stockert Youth Festival on September 30 from 10-4.

You can drop your books off at the UCPL where you should mention they are for the Friends children’s book drive. Your donation will be greatly appreciated! Please drop them off no later than September 24th!
