You probably know a student who stands out — a leader, a problem-solver, someone who cares about their community.

The Buckeye Youth Council is now accepting applications, and we’re asking parents, teachers, coaches and mentors to help spread the word. This is a great opportunity for local students to build leadership skills, get involved, and have a voice in their city.

Applications close April 20.

I had a great time stopping by the Festival Farmers Market earlier this month. It’s a fun, well-run event with a strong lineup of vendors, fresh finds, and a great sense of community. It’s always good to see neighbors coming together and supporting local businesses.

City staff is out there at the first market of every month at the One Buckeye booth, so if you’re planning to attend the next one, be sure to stop by, say hello, and connect with the team.

And if you’re looking for another way to connect, join us for the Festival Open House on April 20 from 5:30–7:30 p.m. There are no formal presentations—just staff from across departments ready to talk with you one-on-one. Stop by, ask questions, and get the information that matters most to you.
