Verrado Elementary families — grab your sneakers, costumes, family & friends! The LESD Educational Foundation Boo Bash! & 5K Dash is coming, and this year VES is competing against the other LESD schools!

📅 Saturday, October 24, 2026
📍 Millennium High School
14802 W. Wigwam Blvd., Goodyear
🏃 1-Mile Fun Run: 8:00 AM
🏃‍♀️ 5K: 8:30 AM

🏆 BATTLE OF THE BOO — SCHOOL SPIRIT CHALLENGE!
The LESD school with the highest percentage of participants wins the Boo Bash School Spirit Cup + a $1,000 grant for a campus event or project! Every VES student, family member, staff member & supporter who participates helps move us up the leaderboard.

🎃 COSTUME CONTEST
Prizes for Most Creative Individual Student, Staff & Family costumes!

👻 GOLDEN PUMPKIN TROPHY
LESD staff will battle it out in an inflatable costume race for the traveling Golden Pumpkin Trophy — and some serious bragging rights!

⭐ AND COME VISIT US!
Your Verrado Elementary SuperSTAR PTA will have a booth at the event! Stop by, say hello, show your VES spirit, and cheer on our community!

💰 REGISTRATION
Through Sept. 24: 1-Mile $25 | 5K $35
Sept. 25–Oct. 23: 1-Mile $35 | 5K $45
Race-day registration may be available if space remains.

Children 4 & under may participate FREE with a registered parent (no registration, bib or shirt required).

👕 CAN’T RUN? Official Boo Bash shirts are available for $20! Shirt-only orders must be placed by Sept. 25.

💙💛 Whether you run, walk, volunteer, wear a costume, visit our booth, or cheer from the sidelines, you can help support LESD students and educators while showing off that Verrado SuperSTAR spirit!

It’s time to show us your creativity in the Verrado SuperSTAR Design Challenge!

Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to create an original design for our 2026–27 Verrado Elementary School T-Shirt! 👕💙💛
