Coming to the Summer Lunch Program, 𝗬 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝘆 - brought to you by Buckeye Valley Family YMCA and the Village of Buckeye Lake Parks and Recreation Commission! Every Wednesday 10:30AM-Noon. Free activities for kids at Ryan-Braden Park!

Summer Lunch Program starts this Monday, June 1st! Enjoy a free bagged lunch at the Recreation Center from 11:30am-12:30pm!

The Summer Lunch Program will begin this coming Monday June 1st! 11:30am-12:30pm at the Recreation Center, 118 Third Street in Buckeye Lake, ages 18 and under can receive a free bagged lunch to eat at the center. This will be Monday through Friday until August 14th, with no bagged lunches on June 19th or July 3rd.

We are also looking for volunteers to help supervise during the lunch hour. Please contact our office if you're interested, thank you!

The Salvation Army - Newark, Ohio Corps and the Village of Buckeye Lake present the 2026 Summer Lunch Program!
Kids up to 18 years of age can join us at the Recreation Center (118 Third Street) starting June 1st from 11:30am until 12:30pm to receive a free bagged lunch, sponsored by the Salvation Army of Newark!
The program will include various crafts and activities during the lunch hour, along with some special days with programs from Y on the Fly, the Licking County Mobile Library, and more!
On various hot days, bring a towel and extra clothes as the Buckeye Lake Village Fire Department could be spraying the water hose to cool everyone off!

Please plan to stay and eat at the site!

The program runs tentatively through August 14th, with NO LUNCHES SERVED on June 19th or July 3rd.

*We are looking for volunteers who can commit to a certain day each week during the program to help supervise for the lunch hour. Please let us know if you are willing to help and your preferred commitment day!*

2026 Spring Clean Up Days start TOMORROW and run
May 20 - May 22 (8am-6pm) and May 23 (8am - 4pm).
Free dumpsters will be available behind Village Hall at 5192 Walnut Road for resident use during the dates and hours listed. Please be prepared to show proof of residency here in the village.
Don't forget about our local churches, food pantry, and donation centers for items you find that can be donated!
Please note that tires were accepted for a fee in the past, however they will not be accepted this year. Please no paint, used oil, explosive materials, or appliances with freon.
