Reminder: Tonight's Planning Commission meeting will be a Public Open House for the City's new Master Plan and will be at 5pm at City Hall. This will be a forum for residents (and anyone with a stake in Buchanan's future) to share what they believe our priorities should be, as well as asking any questions they may have. If you don't have questions and just want to learn more, this is also an excellent way to get to know what a Master Plan is and what Buchanan's looks like.

There will also be a pop up event at the Buchanan Farmer's Market on Saturday, June 13th from 8am-1pm for anyone who'd like to attend but can't make it tonight.

Kathryn Park's new play equipment will be installed June 23 & 24! We are seeking volunteers to help build community and play equipment, no tools or experience necessary. The building will be led by an experienced supervisor from Sinclair Recreation, and we welcome anyone who would like to help. Lunch, water, and snacks will be provided. Recommended for ages 16+.

🥞 Thank You for an Amazing Pancake Breakfast!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our pancake breakfast. This was the first one we’ve hosted in several years, and you all made it something truly special.

We saw familiar faces from past members, runners passing through, our neighbors at Buchanan Township Fire, and so many wonderful people from across the Buchanan area. The turnout, the conversations, and the giving hearts made this an unforgettable day.

Your support means more than you know, and we’re grateful for every person who helped make this event such a success.

We finally had some good weather and you could tell! What a great day and a successful pancake breakfast. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us yesterday. It was great seeing so many friendly faces from our community.

A special thank you to Golden Waffles for their generous donation of pancake and waffle mix, fruit toppings, and syrup. Also, thank you to Gordon Food Service for the sausage donation. Your support helped make this event a success!

We truly appreciate everyone who helped, donated, and attended. We couldn’t do it without the support of our amazing community!

🚒 International Firefighters Day Surprise!
On May 4th, BCFD received a wonderful surprise for International Firefighters Day. Our friends at FAPCO continued their yearly tradition by bringing treats to the station.

A huge thank you to FAPCO for thinking of us — the cookies were awesome and very much appreciated by our crew.
