We appreciate all of the local banks and the banks across Texas! Thank you!
TEXAS BANKERS STEP UP FOR OUR VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENTS!
Today was a tremendous example of what can happen when communities and businesses across Texas come together for a common cause.
Through the generosity of banks from across the state, and with the support of the Texas Bankers Association, more than $116,000 was raised to support volunteer fire departments in Jack and Palo Pinto Counties!
Each volunteer fire department in Jack County received just over $6,000, funding that will make a meaningful difference in helping our departments purchase equipment, maintain operations, and continue protecting the communities we serve.
We want to extend a sincere thank you to every bank that contributed to this incredible effort.
A special thank you goes to Stephen James of Jacksboro National Bank and Amy Pinkston of Graham Savings for their leadership, dedication, and hard work in helping make this possible.
We also want to recognize Legend Bank, First State Bank, and Community National Bank, along with the Texas Bankers Association, for their involvement in coordinating and supporting this effort.
Volunteer fire departments operate on limited budgets while facing increasing costs for equipment, fuel, maintenance, and training. Contributions like these have a direct impact on our ability to serve and protect our communities.
To the Texas banking community: Thank you for recognizing the importance of rural volunteer fire departments and, more importantly, for putting your support into action.
Your generosity is deeply appreciated by the firefighters who serve and the communities who depend on them.
From all of us at Jack County Rural Fire Department, THANK YOU!
