I have had taken many pictures of myself sitting in front

of the falls over the years starting when just sixteen. The old photos on this site are from my first solo trip at age sixteen I made with some friends. My parents started taking me hear when I was around twelve. Not much has changed except the color and improvement of tubes for rent and more visitors. This place and experience is something that belongs on your bucket list.

Campground was spared any major flooding and is still open. Deep Creek too fast and deep for tubing.

Had to pull up tent stakes Wednesday morning and head back to Florida due to rain and possible flooding of my riverside ...

Had to pull up tent stakes Wednesday morning and head back to Florida due to rain and possible flooding of my riverside campsite #1. One guy left in his pup tent in campground in lower tent section. Ranger called me this morning and said those first sites always flood first because of side channel. She was kind enough to refund tonight's rental cost. Fighting the hurricane in Florida with my wife. So far staying dry though with my wet tent drying out downstairs.

Sad thing is tubing is great this week with water up on creek and I had to leave. Going to be a bit windy on Friday when remnants of hurricane get there.

Just finished setting up camp. Hope doesn't rain too much. If it does I will be tubing the creek.
