Reminder!! The deadline to register for the 2026 Cherokee Archaeological Symposium is coming up quickly and there are only about 45 tickets left. The registration deadline is August 17th. We are excited to announce that The Museum of the Cherokee People are offering free entry for symposium attendees on 9/16, 9/17, and 9/18 to check out their new exhibition, Unrelenting: Cherokee People and the American Revolution. You can present your conference badge or proof of your Eventbrite ticket. Big thank you to them!!
For the first time ever, we will have Cherokee artists set up as vendors at the symposium. Please check out their beautiful artwork and support our artists. You don't have to be registered for the symposium to come to the vendor area.
The archaeological company, TRC, will be hosting a free reception starting at 7pm on 9/16. This is open to all symposium attendees and will be held at Harrah's at the bar area in front of Guy Fieri's restaurant. Please come and mingle with our presenters and other attendees. We are accepting donations to help support a tribal initiative, which will be announced soon. Donations are not required to attend, only encouraged. Big thank you to them!! See you soon!
