Mutual Aid Assistance for the City of Celina

Following Thursday evening's thunderstorms, Bryan Municipal Utilities answered a mutual aid request from the City of Celina. The storms caused damage to portions of Celina's electric system, including several large transmission structures.

Mutual aid is one of the greatest strengths of public power. When communities face challenges, utilities work together to support one another and serve the customers who depend on us.

A big thank you to JJ, Noah, and Rayner for representing BMU with professionalism, dedication, and a commitment to helping others.

Navarre Street Water Main Replacement Project Update

Water crews have continued work on the water main replacement project on Navarre Street. This project is part of our ongoing efforts to maintain and improve the community’s water infrastructure.

🌞 Summer Peak Shaving Season is Almost Here!

As we head into June, peak shaving season is right around the corner. Our power plant operators recently completed maintenance runs on our generation units to ensure everything is operating safely and efficiently.

These proactive checks help ensure our system is ready for peak demand management, helping reduce overall power costs and maintaining readiness for emergency situations.
