The First Grade students at Saint Patrick Catholic School Bryan held a birthday bag service project. They collected gift bags with a cake mix, lemon-lime soda, frosting, candles, and a small gift. The bag also includes a card from the student and instructions on how to bake a cake with a can of soda. These bags are given to children whose family is seeking financial assistance from Catholic Charities Williams County so the children have something to make their birthday special!

Jasmine is a single mom who had been renting her house for several years. Her landlord came to her on Friday, March 27, and told her that he was going to be selling the home. He wanted her out by April 1st or wanted her to pay the full month's April rent.

Jasmine worked quickly to find a new place to move her family. She put in an application at an income-based apartment complex and they told her that the quicker she got them the required documents and funds, the quicker she could move in.

From start to finish she was able to move in in 15 days! She paid her security deposit in full and the new apartment landlord prorated her first month's rent. Her original landlord also allowed her to pay a daily rental fee for each day she was in the home in April.

Jasmine still needed assistance to pay the remainder of her first month's rent at her new apartment. She sold appliances, rented a U-Haul, organized movers, and scheduled movers.

Catholic Charities was able to offer the rental assistance needed to ensure that Jasmine and her kids had someplace to call home!

Join us TONIGHT for our Midpoint + Chili event! Join the pro-life community of Northwest Ohio for a unique Midpoint Rally as we gather in fellowship and prayer this evening in the parking lot across from the Toledo Clinic. We will be sharing warm bowls of chili and testimonies that our team and prayer warriors have experienced so far in our campaign.

Various kinds of chili will be served from 6-7:00pm—with an optional rosary at 5:30pm. Please continue to pray for all of the moms, dads, and families affected by the culture of death.
