Alzheimer's has hurt so many families, and we must stop it from hurting more. That’s why Dementia Friendly BCS has joined the fight against Alzheimer’s and all other dementia, and we invite you to join us. We are participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
There's strength in numbers! When you join our Walk team, we'll stand strong against the disease that's taken too many of our loved ones too soon. It’s easy to get started, and were here to help you every step of the way. Just visit our webpage and click the link to join our team.

🧠💜 COMMUNITY INTEREST CHECK: DEMENTIA LIVE EXPERIENCE 💜🧠

Have you ever wondered what it might be like to live with dementia?

Dementia Friendly Bryan-College Station is considering hosting another PUBLIC Dementia Live Experience during Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, and we want to know if there is interest from our community!

Dementia Live is a powerful, hands-on simulation that helps participants gain a deeper understanding of the physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges experienced by individuals living with dementia. Many participants describe the experience as eye-opening, impactful, and life-changing.

This experience is ideal for:

✅ Healthcare professionals
✅ Church members and volunteers
