County Road K between the Village of Montpelier and State Route 15 will be under construction starting today and continue for the next week, the contractor will be grinding the surface, doing spot repairs and then next week will be be laying new asphalt surface followed by the pavement markings.

If possible please take an alternate route.

I know everyone is excited and wants the dog park open, we are trying to get some grass to grow in some spots, and we are still getting some final touches done.
We will open the park as soon as we can!
We are just as excited as you, and we are trying to make it a special place for our pets & us!

The work involves general maintenance, construction, inspection and preventative maintenance of sanitary equipment, wastewater treatment plants, grinder pumps, pump stations, and alike.
This position offers competitive pay, health care, dental care, sick and vacation leave, paid holidays, and Ohio Public Employees Retirement.

The work involves the general operation of motorized vehicles, equipment, small machines and hand tools to maintain general maintenance and construction of county roadways and related infrastructures.

A Commercial Driver’s License is required. [Class A is preferred] This position offers competitive pay, health care, dental care, sick leave, paid holidays, vacation leave and Ohio Public Employees Retirement.

MAILBOX DAMAGE REPLACEMENT POLICY


If you believe your mailbox was damaged by a Williams County Road Maintenance Vehicle the Homeowner must notify the Office of the Williams County Engineer – Highway Clerk at (419)-636-2454 ext. 2143.

** PLEASE REPORT DAMAGE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE **

After notification of the damage claim, the Office of the Williams County Engineer will dispatch someone to visit your property in order to validate the claim.

The Office of the Williams County Engineer will replace or repair damaged mailboxes only when there is sufficient evidence that the damage was due to a Williams County Maintenance Vehicle (snowplow) directly striking the mailbox or support.

The Office of the Williams County Engineer WILL NOT replace damaged mailboxes or supports when the damage is due to the force of snow, or any object thrown at the mailbox by a County snowplow.

After inspection, the Office of the Williams County Engineer reserves the right to refuse to replace any damaged mailbox when, in the opinion of the Office of the Williams County Engineer, it does not appear the snowplow was operated in a negligent manner.

It appears that there have been a few instances of points not locating properly. Please take a moment before submitting your survey to make sure it will be recorded in the correct location. If you feel that it did not record properly. Please email [email protected] and leave directions to the proper location and the point will be updated.
