My neighbors in Brazos County will ALWAYS come first.

Fred Brown

On Nov 6, the Brazos County Commissioners Court unanimously voted for extra $25,000 straight to the Brazos Valley Food Bank!

Why? The federal shutdown froze SNAP benefits, leaving 304 local households hungry every single day. One dollar at BVFB now buys two full meals—so this gift = 50,000 meals on shelves.

Acting Judge Kyle Kacal: "We're stepping in to help our neighbors in need."
Commissioner Fred Brown: "Not in this case—our people come first."
