Summer begins with sunshine, longer days, and a reminder of just how lucky we are to be surrounded by incredible people!

To our advocates…

You are the heart of everything we do.

Your kindness, determination, humor, and resilience make our community stronger every single day.

You show up as friends, coworkers, volunteers, and leaders…

And the impact you make reaches far beyond what can be measured.

You remind us what inclusion looks like, what community feels like, and why the work we do matters so deeply.

As summer begins, we just want to say thank you.

We are honored to walk alongside you, to celebrate your wins, and to be a small part of the BIG difference you make in our community 🩵.

Here’s to a summer filled with joy, connection , and so many moments worth celebrating!

Today we celebrate the dads, bonus-dads, grandpas, father figures, mentors, and caregivers who show up with steady love, quiet strength, and open hearts.

To the fathers who advocate fiercely, encourage endlessly, cheer the loudest, and love without limits…

Thank you.

Thank you for teaching patience, resilience, kindness, and confidence.

Thank you for being a safe place, a guiding voice, and a constant source of support through every season.

Your impact reaches far beyond today…

It lives in the confidence you build, the independence you encourage, and the unconditional love you give every single day.

We see you, we appreciate you, and we are so grateful for the role you play in the lives of those you love and in our community as a whole.

Happy Father’s Day 🩵.

What an INCREDIBLE way to celebrate Rock Your Socks and Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month…

And what a powerful reminder of what community truly looks like.

We are beyond excited to celebrate Mrs. Turner’s 5th grade class from Montpelier School, along with their beloved therapy dog, Roger…

As the winners of our county-wide school competition!!

Their classroom was filled with donuts, joy, and pride as they received a Rock Your Socks banner to hang proudly…

A symbol of inclusion, awareness, and kindness that will live on in their classroom every day 🩵.

AND the celebration doesn’t stop there!!

The second floor of the Williams County Courthouse, home to the Recorder, Auditor, Treasurer, and Probate Court…

Was named winner of the county-wide business competition!

Their Rock Your Socks banner now hangs in the courthouse as a visible reminder that advocacy belongs everywhere, including the heart of our community.

What truly touched us most wasn’t just the banners or celebrations…

It was the participation.

Every classroom.

Every business.

Every person who showed up, wore their socks, started conversations, and stood in support of individuals with developmental disabilities.

We are deeply grateful.

Honored.

And genuinely moved to be a part of a community that leads with compassion, inclusion, and heart.

Thank you for rocking your socks with purpose, for lifting up our advocates, and for showing what it means to belong…

Together 🩵✨🧦.

This summer, one less thing for families to worry about 💛.

Thanks to Northwestern Ohio Community Action Commission, kids and teens in our community can enjoy free meals all summer long…

No registration required, just nourishment, support, and care.

The 2026 Summer Food Program is open to all children ages 1-18, and up to age 21 for individuals with disabilities, because access to food should always be inclusive and barrier-free.

Programs like this are a beautiful reminder that community isn’t just about showing up for fun…

It’s about showing up for each other, especially when it matters most 🩵.

If you have questions or want to learn more, you can reach out to NOCAC’s Nutritional Manager, Crystal at (419) 784-2150 ext. 1130.

Here’s to a summer filled with full bellies, growing kiddos, and a community that truly cares ☀️🍎.

What a night to remember at FleosFlicks !!!

For many of our advocates, this was their very FIRST drive-in movie experience…

And it couldn’t have been more perfect 🤩.

From the excitement of watching a movie under the open sky to the simple joy of being together…

The night was filled with smiles, laughter, and moments that truly matter.

We were welcomed with such warmth and kindness, and the hospitality made everyone feel right at home 🩵.

Experiences like this remind us how powerful inclusive, community-centered spaces can be…

And how meaningful it is when local businesses open their doors and hearts to everyone!

We are so grateful for a beautiful evening, unforgettable memories, and a local, family-owned business we are proud to support!!

We can’t wait to come back again soon and continue making magic together…

One movie night at a time 🎥🍿✨.

There is something truly special about watching confidence grow in real time…

And this Entrees with Advocates night was full of those moments 🧑‍🍳!

Together, our advocates rolled up their sleeves and created a delicious summer meal while building practical , everyday kitchen skills.

These chicken wraps were more than just a recipe…

They were proof that independence, creativity, and teamwork can thrive with the right support.

And the best part?

No stove, oven, or microwave needed…

Just hands-on learning, laughter, and pride in what was created!

A heartfelt thank you to Becky with Williams County OSU Extension for sharing your knowledge and guiding this experience with such care…

And to Parkview Bryan Hospital for providing a grant that made it possible to purchase the supplies needed for this incredible evening 🩵.

These moments matter.

They build confidence, foster independence, and strengthen community connections…

One shared meal at a time 🍽️.

We are so grateful to everyone who made the night possible and to our advocates who continue to inspire us every step of the way!

Community inclusion doesn’t happen in just one place or moment…

It shows up everywhere life is lived 🩵.

It looks like spring events that bring people together.

Book clubs and cooking classes where friendships are formed.

Cookouts where laughter carries across picnic tables.

Recreational opportunities where everyone belongs, just as they are ✨.

Our community continues to show that inclusion is not about special occasions…

It’s about everyday access, shared experiences, and making space for everyone to participate, connect, and thrive.

As the seasons change, opportunities grow.

From local recreation and camps to community gatherings and summer fun, these moments matter.

They build confidence, independence, and belonging…

One experience at a time 😉.

This is what it looks like when inclusion leads the way!
