The Texas Veterans Commission has awarded more than $8.3 million in grants to organizations helping Veterans across Texas and we’re excited to share that Brazos Valley Community Action Programs (BVCAP) has received $56,000 in funding.

These funds will help provide home repair assistance to Veterans throughout the Brazos Valley, supporting safer, more secure homes for those who have served our country.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to put these funds to work right here in our community and continue supporting our local Veterans. ❤️🤍💙

🎉 60 years of serving the Brazos Valley!

BVCOG has been part of this community for decades, and we’re just getting started. From our original designation in 1966 to officially becoming the Brazos Valley Council of Governments in 1997, our story has always been centered around bringing communities together and helping people.

As we celebrate 60 years, we’re grateful for how far we’ve come and excited for what’s ahead. Here’s to continuing to serve, support, and grow alongside the Brazos Valley for years to come! 💙
