We'd like to take a moment out of this beautiful day and thank those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Without those men and women's sacrifices we would not be where we are today.

Tuesday night, Williams County EMS held a dinner to honor our providers during EMS Week 2026. A single week is never long enough to recognize everything our providers do day in and day out for the people of our communities. The things they see, the calls they answer, and the dedication they show never go unnoticed.

This week — and every day — we thank our Williams County EMRs, EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics for their commitment, professionalism, and compassion. We also want to thank our Chiefs for their leadership and support throughout the year.

We train hard and work hard all year long, so Tuesday night gave us a chance to relax a little with kickball, co****le, good food, and time together as a team.

Happy EMS Week 2026 from all of us at Williams County EMS 🚑💙

We truly couldn’t be happier to work alongside such great teams every day. Thank you for the snacks, kindness, and recognition you showed our crews all week long. Those snacks definitely helped get us through the busy week!

We appreciate everything you do for our patients, our communities, and our providers. Thank you, thank you! 🚑💙

A huge thank you to Weiland Chase for allowing us to borrow your weighted manikin during our recent Lifting and Moving Patients Continuing Education training.

Having the ability to simulate the weight and movement of a real patient provided our providers with valuable hands-on practice and realistic education for real-life situations.

We truly appreciate the teamwork and support you provided to help make this training successful. Opportunities like this help us better prepare to safely care for the citizens we serve every day.

We can’t thank you enough for your partnership and dedication to helping improve EMS training in our community.

As we wrap up EMS Week, we had a great success this morning with our Lifting and Moving Patients training. This was an extremely valuable hands-on training focused on safely moving patients up and down stairs and through challenging environments.

A huge thank you to the Williams County Commissioners, Williams County Courthouse Security, and all the offices within the courthouse for allowing us to utilize the courthouse and stairways for training.

Thank you as well to the Bryan Fire Department for partnering with us and allowing us to train alongside your department.

Today’s training included the use of mega movers, backboards, Stokes baskets, and stair chairs — all critical tools that help us safely care for and transport patients in difficult situations.

We could not do what we do without the dedication and hard work of our providers. Their commitment to training and serving this community does not go unnoticed.

What a great way to end EMS Week. We are here for you, Williams County.

Please don’t be alarmed by the increase of emergency vehicles at the Courthouse or around the square in Bryan this morning. Williams County EMS is conducting a training exercise in the area.

Crews will be training throughout the morning and will be wrapping up prior to noon.

Thank you for your understanding and support!
