Join us for storytime on Friday mornings, Summer Reading in June, the quilt show in July, and other classes and presentations throughout the year. The Sandbox (EMCLD’s Maker Space) is looking for flower donations! During the month of September, we will be having a Flower Pounding Art program and we are in need of some fresh flowers. If you are interested in donating, we will take any flowers you are willing to part with, however, the best flowers for the project are: pansies, violas, cosmos, marigolds, geraniums, roses, petunias, garden phlox and leafy greens. Please no lilies.

The fresher these flowers are, the better. If they are starting to wilt, they will not work for the program.

* We will be pounding these flowers onto paper for an artistic affect. If you don't want your flowers smashed, you may not want to donate them.

If you would like to partake in the flower pounding program, we will be having this program every Tuesday and Thursday in September from 3-5 P.M. One project per person is allowed. No sign-up is required. Hope to see you there!
