Glynn-Brunswick 911 Center We have text to 911 capabilities and provide Emergency Medical Dispatch as well.

In addition to 911 services for Glynn County, we dispatch the Glynn County Police Department, Brunswick Police Department, College of Coastal Georgia Police, Glynn County Fire and Rescue, Brunswick Fire Department and Jekyll Island Fire & EMS.

On Monday, June 8, 911 Dispatcher Kay Floyd received a $7,000 donation from RapidSOS to support her family after their home was destroyed in the Brantley County wildfire. This contribution reflects the strong community partnership that continues to surround her family as they rebuild.

Kay was on duty April 21 when Brantley County’s wildfire reached its peak and their emergency calls were being routed to our center.

While managing those calls and monitoring the situation in real time, she recognized the danger to her family’s home and alerted them, allowing them to get out safely before the fire destroyed the residence.

Glynn County is proud of Kay’s dedication and grateful to RapidSOS and all who stepped forward to support her family’s recovery. 👏

This definition could not be more accurate for SGT Duggan and his beloved partner, Chief. We honor the memory of this team and give our heartfelt condolences to SGT Duggan and all of GCPD.
