🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE – SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2025 🚧
Please be advised that East Potomac Street, West Potomac Street, and Ninth Avenue will be closed to all thru-traffic and parking on Sunday, November 9, from 11:00 AM until at least 4:00 PM for our 93rd Annual Brunswick Veterans Day Parade. Use alternate routes during this time.
Parade spectators: Parking is available at the MARC Train lot or on side streets (where permitted).
Handicap parking is available at City Hall, 1 W Potomac Street.

Today we honor, remember, and celebrate the lives of those who came before us — with love, laughter, and maybe a few skeletons who know how to party. 🕺💃
Día de los Mu***os isn’t about being spooky — it’s about being joyfully sentimental. Think of it as a family reunion… with extra marigolds, sugar skulls, and possibly your great-aunt’s ghost judging your outfit. 👻
🕯️ Light a candle.
🎨 Decorate an ofrenda.
🍬 Eat pan de mu**to (or just regular donuts, we won’t tell).
💃 And dance like your ancestors are watching — because they probably are.
From our Brunswick family to yours, we wish you a day full of color, connection, and beautiful memories.
And remember: if you see a skeleton wearing sunglasses and sipping horchata downtown… just wave. He’s probably on the Parks & Rec team.

Tonight’s the night! The candy is calling, the costumes are epic, and someone just walked by dressed as a haunted toaster. We love it here. 🧡🍞👻
Whether you’re trick-or-treating, haunting the haunted house, or just here for the sugar rush — we hope your Halloween is filled with spooky fun, creative costumes, and absolutely no raisins in your candy bag. 🙅‍♂️🍬
🛑 Quick Trick-or-Treating Safety Tips (because even superheroes need backup):
🕸️ Carry a flashlight or glow stick — vampires are cool, but visibility is cooler.
🕷️ Stick to sidewalks and crosswalks — zombies don’t have great depth perception.
🧛‍♀️ Check your candy before you eat it — especially if it looks like it came from a haunted vending machine.
🐾 Keep pets on a leash — unless they’re dressed as werewolves, then just… good luck.
