As many of you know August 18 their will be a election in town . Tim Murphy, Howard Lanham, Brandon Riggle, Dan Potts, Democrait party Andy Steffy Republican
This is some of the issues people need to ask before voting. What is their plan to pay back 15,000.00 that is due in four years for the start of sewer?
We have only $3000.00 put back and praying no major issue or breakdown with the plant happens.
What percentage do they think will be enough to raise to cover expenses ?
What are their thoughts on w**d control and trash?
What are their thoughts on the major drug issue we have in town? Are they willing to work closely with the sheriff dept?
What are their thoughts on still having town clean up?
What areas do they think should be fixed next? Roads,Ditches, Sewer plant?
When I decided to run four years ago I thought I could help . I wanted to try to clean up the town , work with the citizens. I know several have been upset about receiving letters to clean up property's . But is it to much to ask people to respect one another? Is it to much to keep your w**ds mowed ? Why is it wrong to think you should be able to sit outside your home and not have to look at your neighbors w**ds? Or just get along ?
The drug issue is no brainer if you think it is ok , you need help .
Are they willing to donate their time in helping with areas that need work done?
I am not trying to disgurse anyone from running. But contrary to all rumors you still have to pay your water bill , you are not exempted from following any of the ordinances . Instead you are expected to follow them completely . You are to treat everyone with respect and have big shoulders because you put yourself in the rumor mill.
I am not running again due to the fact my father had been ill. I have went thru cancer, my job has become more demanding and I need to be with my family more.
