Firefighter/Life Safety Educator Royce Tidwell spent Wednesday speaking to students at the Calhoun County Career and Technical Center students about serving in the fire service. Showing an equipped truck and personal protective equipment used on scenes.

***During a called business meeting on Monday April 27th, an officer election took place and the results are as follows:

Chief: Ed Spearman
Asst. Chief: Rodney Brassfield
Secretary: Royce Tidwell
Treasurer: Roger Poyner
Training Officer: Dustin Carr(**Correction** Training Officer was incorrectly posted**)

We thank Sput Deaton for stepping in , guiding this department for several years, when he was elected as Chief and very appreciative of his continued service as he remains a valued member of this department.
