The Jelk's house is down! The lot is ready for the new home! The foundation may be in place before Thanksgiving!

Stella Jelks is our next homeowner. Stella is taking care of several family members who are disabled. Haywood Habitat believes that the Jelks family is an ideal partner for our program. We invite the community to join wih us in the coming months in providing a new home for this special family. It is through the support of our generous community that makes it possible for Habitat for help families.

Habitat is getting the documentation together to apply for a grant to help build three homes in the near future. If our score is high enough, we'll get the grant! Wish us luck and success!
