We were so proud to see some of our Olmito Elementary students take the field with the Los Fresnos Stars Dance Team for an amazing halftime performance! 🐾 Their hard work, confidence, and school spirit were shining bright! We love seeing our Ocelots representing and being part of the Falcon family! ⭐

🏈 And what a win for the Los Fresnos Falcons! 🦅❤️ The Falcons secured a 28-24 victory over McAllen Rowe! Way to go, Falcons! 🎉

There’s nothing better than celebrating success with full tummies, happy smiles, and a little extra sweetness! We are so proud of our students and all they’ve accomplished!

Ocelot attendance = Ocelot success! 💚🐾

Our Ocelots are off to a GREAT start with our September Attendance Challenge! Each day, grade levels are working toward their goal of 96% attendance or higher—and we’re celebrating their progress with our Ice Cream Scoop Challenge! 🍨

Today was extra special as we celebrated students who have been at school every single day since the first day of school! 🎉 Students with perfect attendance received their first “Dress Down Pass” bracelet—a fun reward for making attendance a priority! 🥳

Let’s keep showing up, scooping up those attendance goals, and growing stronger together! 🍦📚

🔬🌱 Science in Action at OES! 🐾

Great things are happening in the science lab with Mrs. Miranda! Our 4th grade Ocelots are diving into the world of food chains and exploring how energy moves through an ecosystem. 🌿🐛🦉

Students reviewed important science vocabulary, including sources, producers, and consumers, while strengthening their understanding of how living things depend on one another.

We love seeing our Ocelots learning, exploring, and making connections through hands-on science! 💚💙

Today, our Ocelots are wearing gold/yellow as we recognize Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. 🎗️

We wear gold to honor the brave children and families who are fighting childhood cancer, remember those we have lost, and celebrate the strength and courage of childhood cancer survivors.

💛 September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month🎗️

Every Tuesday, we’re asking our Falcon family to wear gold to show support for the children and families who have been impacted by childhood cancer.

About 15,000 children and teens are diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. each year. 💛

Let’s fill our halls with gold and remind these kids and their families that they have a whole community behind them.
