As we continue to work on these amazing projects, we recognize the importance to document the different milestones and capture the stories and history of Buena Vida, Bougainvillea, and Victoria Gardens. Thank you to Mayor John Cowen for participating in our upcoming documentary and to Mr. John Faulk and the production team.

Girl Scout Troop 2031 Explores Financial Literacy at First Community Bank

Our HACB Girl Scout Troop 2031 recently visited First Community Bank for an exciting financial literacy learning experience. During their visit, the girls learned about the importance of saving, budgeting, banking services, and making smart financial decisions, valuable skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

A special thank you to Mrs. Sandra Langley, Senior Vice President/Business Development at First Community Bank and Board Member of Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas, for welcoming our troop and sharing her expertise. Her commitment to empowering young girls through financial education and leadership development made this a truly memorable experience.

At HACB, we are proud to provide opportunities that help our youth build confidence, develop life skills, and prepare for future success. Experiences like these demonstrate the importance of community partnerships in creating meaningful learning opportunities for our residents.

Thank you, First Community Bank, for investing in the next generation of leaders!
