Thank You to Our Local Community Partners

Haywood County EMA and the EMA Support Unit would like to sincerely thank Earbie and Christy Williams, owners of Backyard Bar-Be-Cue in Brownsville, for their generosity during the recent winter weather. They took care of several of our volunteers and staff, and we even shared food with another first responder who was working through the conditions.

We are incredibly grateful for the support our local businesses show us during times like this. We would also like to thank our local Walmart for donating a gift card to help meet needs during the winter weather.

If you visit either of these businesses, please take a moment to thank them for supporting first responders and our community during this and other severe weather events.
