We are officially in our fifth week of instruction, and what a journey it has been! Day after day, Dr. Susana Zapata and the Russell Family continue to show up with dedication, perseverance, passion, and an unwavering commitment to our students.
Our strength is in our Russell Family. Our power is in our unity. And our greatest asset is the love, dedication, and commitment we have for our Patriots.
Together, we support one another, overcome challenges, celebrate victories, and keep our students at the heart of everything we do.
When the Russell Family works together, there is no challenge too great and no goal beyond our reach.

🇺🇸❤️ A Day Filled with Patriot Pride, Fun & Celebration! ❤️🇺🇸
What an AMAZING time we had at Russell Elementary! Our students, faculty, staff, and BISD leadership came together for an unforgettable celebration filled with laughter, dancing, fun, and lots of Patriot spirit! 🇺🇸🎉
Our students enjoyed hot dogs 🌭, chips, juice 🧃, snow cones 🍧, and popcorn 🍿 while dancing, playing, and making wonderful memories with their Russell family.
A very special highlight was having a fire truck 🚒 with its tall ladder proudly displaying the American flag 🇺🇸—a beautiful and powerful sight that added even more meaning to our celebration.
We were also honored to welcome our BISD leadership, including Superintendent Dr. Cuff, Assistant Superintendent Mrs. Rose Longoria, and Deputy Superintendent Dr. Cantú, who joined us in celebrating our students and our incredible Russell team.
It was a day filled with Patriot pride, joy, unity, and memories that will last a lifetime! ❤️💙🇺🇸
