Remembering September 11, 2001 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives taken on September 11, 2001.

We remember the mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, friends, and neighbors who never made it home. We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, and countless heroes who ran toward danger while others were running away.

We remember the families who were left behind and the pain that continues long after that day.

More than 25 years later, we will never forget the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness shown that day. Their stories live on in the hearts of those who knew them and in the generations who have learned from their sacrifice.

Today, we honor their memory by standing together, looking out for one another, and never taking our freedom, our families, or those who protect our communities for granted.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Brownsboro are be advised we are working single vehicle accident in the 10200 block of FM 607. Please slow down and proceed as directed by the firefighters working to keep traffic flowing safely while we remove the vehicle.

Post will be updated when it’s safe to travel at normal speed in that area🚒

Brownsboro area be advised
Henderson county extended the burn ban for another 28 days this morning. Please remember we don’t make the decision for this so please, no negativity. We are just the messenger informing you that if we have to come out to a fire that you started, the Henderson County Fire Marshal has to be notified and will likely issue a citation for illegal burning (it’s NOT CHEAP) The county fire departments have been running non stop fires because everything is so dry, even after 6 inches of rain a few nights ago. We get it. It’s an inconvenience but so is having to stay out until 3am trying to contain and stop fires that could have been easily prevented if everyone would just abide by the law.
We appreciate your support and we thank you for not burning until the ban has been lifted. Just a little while longer guysđźš’đźš’đźš’

Today, we pause to recognize and appreciate the hardworking men and women who keep our community moving forward. To the farmers, teachers, nurses, first responders, law enforcement officers, construction workers, small business owners, public servants, and everyone who works tirelessly to provide for their families and make Brownsboro a better place—we thank you. ❤️

Labor Day is a time to enjoy family, friends, good food, and the freedoms we’re blessed to have. As you celebrate, please take a moment to look out for one another and make safety a priority.

🔥 A very important reminder: We are STILL under a burn ban.
Please do not burn brush, trash, leaves, or other materials. With dry conditions, what may seem like a small fire can quickly become a dangerous wildfire. Help us protect your homes, your property, our firefighters, and our community by following the burn ban.

Roadway is clear and open for normal travel. Please drive safely and always pay attention to the emergency lights. You never know what you have just come up on and you don’t want to create a 2nd accident or put responders in a more dangerous situation than they are already facing. We aren’t out there on the roads in bright lit trucks for fun or to delay your travel. We just want to keep everyone safe. Thank you!

2120PM Brownsboro be advised we are working a major accident at 14590 FM 317. Please slow down approaching the scene and we have a lot of people pulled over on the shoulder and walking back and forth across the both lanes. Please SLOW DOWN TO 10 mph when driving through our scene.
Post will be updated when roadway is clear for normal traveling. Thank you for help keeping the responders safe while we are helping people in emergency situations.

Tomorrow marks the beginning of a new school year, and all of us at Brownsboro Fire Department would like to wish every student, teacher, staff member, and family a safe, successful, and memorable year ahead.

As classrooms fill and buses hit the roads, we ask everyone to do their part to keep our community safe:

* 🚌 Stop for school buses with flashing red lights and an extended stop arm.
* 🚸 Slow down in school zones and watch carefully for children crossing the street.
* 🚒 Never park in fire lanes—they must remain clear for emergency responders.
* 📱 Put distractions away and stay alert behind the wheel.

Let’s work together to ensure every child arrives safely at school and returns home to their loved ones each day.
