Today, the Pemberton Township High School JROTC visited most of our 3rd-5th grade classrooms to teach them about the Junior Achievement curriculum. Some of our 3rd grade students celebrated Earth Day by doing a clean up on our school grounds. Materials (gloves, trash bags, etc.) were donated and our students/staff worked together. OTC Recycling visited our school as well and taught our students about the importance of recycling. This event was initiated under the direction of one of our 3rd grade students. She created an Earth Day presentation to share with our school and had some help from family/school community with the donations and OTC Recycling visit. Well done, Ana V.! Recently, our school celebrated "Health & Wellness" week along with Pemberton Township Schools. Part of this celebration, annually, is partnering with the American Heart Association to raise money. Denbo-Crichton raised $5,531, which crushed our goal by more than 40%. Two of top earners (Wyatt J. and Zenyatta G.) raised close to $1,000 each. Our culminating activity was turning the principal into a sundae. Any student or staff member that made a $5 donation was put into a raffle. Attached are some of the "sundae" pictures. The 2026 Winter Olympics may be going on in Italy, but they are also in full swing at Denbo-Crichton. Our 4th grade classes have had the “Potato Olympics” (figure skating, downhill skiing, ice hockey, & curling) and our gym classes have had their spin on the winter events (downhill skiing, curling, the skeleton, ice hockey, & speed skating).
