Wills Clinic in Browning
TLPG will hold a wills clinic in Browning on September 14th at the Blackfeet Legal Department. The clinic has a limited number of slots and eligibility requirements. To reserve a spot, everyone interested can apply online at https://www.montanalawhelp.org/apply-legal-services, email [email protected], or call (406) 442-9830 Ext. 1161. If we have walk-ins, we will go through an intake to check eligibility for our services and will complete a will over the phone, or in-person if we have open slots.

Montana Legal Services Association (MLSA) has a do-it-yourself will for Native Americans! MLSA created a free online program available for Native Americans to write their own will. You can use the Indian Will in a Box to decide who should get your personal property, trust land, money from IIM account. You can review this video to learn how to use this tool.

What to Do While You Wait on Your MLSA Application
While individuals wait for MLSA to process their application, there are things they can do to help themselves:
· Visit MontanaLawHelp.org for free legal forms and information;
· Contact their nearest Self Help Law Center or Self-Help Connect station for free help with legal forms and information;
· To check the status of an application, call our Helpline at 1-800-666-6899, Tuesday through Thursday, 9am to 1pm.
