UPDATE: Anyone who receives their utility bill in a PO Box in Browerville will have their bill in their box by the end of day today. We re-printed them and they will be put directly in the boxes today. The original batch is showing up slowly at the post office so you may end up with duplicates.

Thank you for your patience.

Spring is in the air, and with that work to finish up the 2024 Construction project will be starting.

Next week survey crews will be in Browerville in the Construction project areas. (Map of the affected area: https://clients.bolton-menk.com/browervillecreameryavenue/ )

They will be checking to ensure that any corner irons that were in place before the project started are back where they were originally found.

Watch for more information in the coming weeks on the final phase of this project. If you have questions feel free to contact City Hall.

The City of Browerville is undertaking a construction project to improve the city streets and utilities. This project includes replacing the sanitary sewer mains and services, replacing water services and a portion of the water mains, replacing the storm sewer system, and reconstructing the streets.

Reminder: it is illegal in Minnesota to push, plow, shovel, or blow snow from your property onto a public street, highway, or right-of-way, as it creates hazards, obstructs traffic, causes drifting, and violates state laws (like Minn. Stat 160.2715 and 169.42). Violations are misdemeanors, potentially leading to fines (up to $700-$1000) and/or jail time, plus civil liability if the snow causes an accident.

Thank you

Friendly Reminder:
In Minnesota, it is illegal to blow or deposit grass clippings onto a public road or highway. This is a misdemeanor offense under Minnesota Statute 169.42, Subd. 1, regarding objects on a highway. Such actions can create dangerous conditions for other road users, particularly motorcyclists and bicyclists, due to the potential for loss of traction and slippery conditions when wet.
