Broomfield Days Poster Contest 2026:
We had more adult entries than we have seen in over a decade. This increase in entries was the result of removing the entry size restriction of 16x20 and the Broomfield Art Guild and the Broomfield Photography Club being kind enough to share the Call for Poster Contest Entries with their members.

Thank you to all of the entrants for entering their artwork and photographs into this community tradition celebrating Broomfield!

The Broomfield Days Poster Contest is held each year by the Broomfield Council on the Arts & Humanities, a nonprofit legacy organization founded in 1973 that presents arts, culture, and science programming for all ages and currently serves 43,000 annually.

A special thank you to the Colorado Junction String Band and Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra for adding such incredible music to the day.

A new take on this iconic show brings a fresh, universal approach to this classic script maintaining an uplifting message and energetic presentation that begs to be rediscovered and renewed for today’s world.

Certainly, "Godspell" is rooted in the Christian Bible’s Book of Matthew but it addresses issues, themes and teachings that can resonate with nearly everyone, regardless of faith.

The authors state this show is about community and joy as much as anything and we are reminded of the common ground we share as human beings.

Sammie Legg spends most of her life in a theatre one way or another. When she isn’t performing, she is teaching, directing, or choreographing, especially with young artists discovering the stage for themselves. "Godspell" brings Sammie back to BCP, where she is happy to once again be part of the company’s theatrical family.
