Seven years ago, Liberty STEAM Charter: A School of Inquiry, Innovation, & Impact promised Sumter, South Carolina, a first-class K-12 education built around students and aligned to the community's workforce needs. This past week, South Carolina Public Charter School District Superintendent Chris Neeley wrote about what that promise has produced: 100% of the measurable goals in its charter met, strong marks across academics, finance, operations and governance, and a leadership transition that proves the school's excellence outlasts any one leader.

IDEA Public Schools' Horizon Vista campus just welcomed its very first senior class, the Class of 2027.

When Horizon Vista opened in 2020, it started as a small K-2 and 6th grade school and every year since, the school has grown by a grade level.

KVIA ABC-7 caught up with two Horizon Vista seniors about what it's like to be the trailblazers of their school's first-ever senior class.

This month, Carmen Schools of Science and Technology celebrated the ribbon-cutting of their new Southgate campus in Milwaukee, WI. The new campus brings together Carmen South and Southeast High Schools under one roof, with room for 1,100 students, a fieldhouse, turf fields, STEAM labs, a college and career office, and air conditioning that students never had before.

Congratulations to the entire Carmen community.
