A Message to Our Parade Planners — and Our Community

To everyone who worked so hard to bring our July 4th parade to life this year — thank you. The early mornings, the phone calls, the route planning, the permits, the endless logistics — none of it goes unnoticed. Cancelling wasn't an easy call, but it reflects the same care for this community that goes into everything you do. We're grateful for you.

While we won't be marching together this year, we won't let that stop us from celebrating. This July 4th marks 250 years since our nation's founding — a milestone too meaningful to let pass quietly. So let's celebrate in spirit, together, right where we are.

Share your favorite photos from parades past — the kids on floats, the flags, the friends and neighbors lining the street. Post them with your favorite memory attached. Let's fill our feeds with the joy and pride that make this community what it is, heat or no heat.
