Grand Opening for Fat Boy’s Pizzeria

As we take time to remember 9/11, it was a day that took an unexpected turn for the worse. It was a day that took many innocent lives of our fellow Americans. Many children had to grow up without parents, parents had to continue to live without their children, spouses had to carry-on without their spouse.
Let’s us not forget the men and women who serve our country to keep our freedoms.
Let us not forget our first-responders and the sacrifice they make each day.
Parents, teachers, and fellow Americans NEVER allow our children to not be educated on the fact that we are just as vulnerable if we neglect our right and responsibilities as Americans to protect our country by voting and supporting our military, police and fire.
Talk to your children and educate them to be a PROUD American. An American who respects and values our freedoms and understand the sacrifice of the many lives that were sacrificed.

Also, when you see our police, fireman, volunteer fireman, and our military, take a minute to say, “Thank You!”.

As we celebrate the greatest nation today, let us remember that we are the greatest nation because of the sacrifices of our forefathers, veterans, and our current servicemen and woman of the military!
The freedom we have to worship our God freely and live in the land of the free and the home of the brave is not to take for granted but to stand boldly with gratitude and appreciation!

Hope we all have a great day celebrating our great nation, AMERICA!

Happy 4th of July!

I ask that our city join me in prayer for the two Bibb County deputies who were shot in the line of duty yesterday afternoon as well as for their families.

Also, be prayful for the men and women in blue who are continuing the search for the shooter.

It was a great morning at Mary’s Fuel Center with the Steve and DC Morning Show while on their Hometowns We Love Tour. Tuscaloosa Toyota showed their support to Brookwood High School with a $250 donation to the Brookwood High Baseball Team and a $250 donation to the Brookwood High library!
And it didn’t stop there…… David DeSantis of Tuscaloosa Toyota donated $5000 to a $10,000 project at Brookwood High… the rest of the goal was met THANKS to Shane Spiller of Spiller Furniture, Taylor Electric, Jett Medical, and City of Brookwood.
