Brookville’s 175th Anniversary Committee will be at the Leiber Center tomorrow, 9/11, from 10am-9pm for anyone who would like to sign the first responder poster and time capsule registry.

Due to severe weather last Friday, 09/04/26, the city of Brookville area has tree limbs and other brush down throughout the community. The Brookville Service Department will be chipping tree limbs for free through Friday, 09/11/26. Limbs need to be brought to the front of the property for easy access. Please keep all limbs out of the road and public right-of-ways.

Please join us in congratulating FF/EMT Shawn Stephens as he has completed his first year of service with the Brookville Fire Department.

Over the past 12 months Shawn has completed EMT certification and completed numerous initial training requirements. He is proving to be a hard working, conscientious employee. We hope he will continue to serve with us for many more years to come!

TRAFFIC ALERT: Interstate 70 Westbound is closed West of Arlington Road (Milepost 20) due to a tractor trailer rollover. Westbound is currently closed at Arlington Road.

Expect heavy traffic on Arlington north of the interstate and on US40 between Arlington and SR503 for several hours this morning. Avoid these areas if possible!

The Blue Devil Maltese Cross is showing our support of Brookville Student Athletes. We wish them tremendous success both on the field and in the classroom this school year.
