Hoosier Hills Regional Water District advised all customers in Ripley, Franklin, and Dearborn counties are under a voluntary boil advisory today through Wednesday, November 5th, due to a water main break.

Friendly reminder that the burn ban is still in place. Although we received rain earlier this week, it wasn’t enough to end the drought. There’s no rain in the forecast for the 9 days so we don’t expect any relief.

We are keeping a close eye on conditions. Please be mindful of the farmers trying to harvest. We’ve had several field fires due to the dry conditions/crop dust.
