Is in search of Volunteers
October may be seven months away, but your town Halloween committee has already started planning the best Halloween celebration on the Eastern Shore and we are hoping to include the resurrection of an old town tradition in those plans.
While some residents remember Halloween Hill, many people are not aware that for a number of years there was a horror-themed hayride attraction set up in town on Halloween night. Over time, the volunteers to run this project dwindled and it eventually stopped happening.
After several years of increasing interest in Halloween celebrations in town, the Halloween committee has decided to try to bring Halloween Hill back into action. In order to make this happen, we are going to need help with this massive undertaking. If this sounds like fun to you, please reach out to us via email so that we can add you to a list of potential volunteers. If you were ever involved in Halloween Hill in the past, please reach out so we can consult with you and make sure we get it right. We will need people to build props, do makeup, come up with ideas, and so much more.
If you are up to the challenge, please send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: HALLOWEEN HILL
We look forward to hearing from you and working together on this tremendous project.
