The Bracken County Family Resource & Youth Services Center is excited to host our annual Back to School Supply Drive, providing a one-stop shop for students and families who need a little extra assistance as they prepare for the upcoming school year!

Help students start the school year feeling confident by providing free haircuts during the event!

Support our local families with different resources that help our students get prepared for back to school. Reach out if you would like to set up and be apart of a wonderful opportunity!

🎒 DONATIONS NEEDED
We are currently accepting donations of:
• School supplies
• Backpacks (especially larger backpacks for older students)
• Headphones/Earbuds
• Water bottles
• Notebooks and folders
• Classroom supplies
• Monetary donations to help purchase needed items

Every donation, volunteer hour, and haircut helps ensure local students begin the school year prepared, confident, and ready to succeed.

🌧️ Community-Wide Yard Sale Postponed 🌧️

Due to rain in the weather forecast, the Community-Wide Yard Sale has been postponed.

📅 New Dates: June 18–20
⏰ Time: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM each day

If you have already paid for a spot and are no longer able to participate on the new dates, please contact the FRYSC office at 606-735-3349 for assistance.

Another option for a summer food program! Please take advantage of these resources

Summer lunches are going to look a little different this year. Starting June 1st from 11:30-12:30 food boxes will be available for pick up. The boxes will have 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches and will be available every Monday for the summer. Please scan the QR code to register for this service.

Benefits of the new program include:
• Daily meals delivered all in one box each week 📦
• DELIVERY directly to the homes of registered students 🚗
• Available for children ages 1–18
• No income information required
• Completely FREE ❤️

Each weekly box contains 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches, along with fresh produce and meal options for your child!

What an incredible evening at our Blue Ribbon Kids Fest! 💙🎉

Tonight’s event was designed to support children ages 0–5 and help prepare our youngest learners and their families for a successful start to their educational journey. We were so thankful to have so many amazing community partners come set up and share valuable resources and information with our families this evening.

We truly enjoyed spending time with everyone who came out to support this special event! Families and children were able to enjoy free snow cones, free Snappy Tomato Pizza, free drinks, fun prizes, and lots of smiles throughout the night. 🍕🍧🥤

One of the highlights of the evening was giving away SEVEN amazing raffle prizes that got to go home with some very excited children! 🎁✨

Thank you to every family who attended and to all of our wonderful community partners for taking the time to be part of this event. Your support and involvement helped make tonight such a success for our children and families! 💙
