Tropical Storm Edouard Update:
Edouard will be making landfall just east of us soon. Praying for our neighboring eastern cities, counties and our Louisiana friends.
This thing has tried its best to organize and will manage to bring in some considerable winds and weather for those folks.
As for us… we are expecting a total of a couple of inches of rain (needed) during the event.
Rain will start this afternoon and wil continue off and on thru Wednesday afternoon.
The bands will be hit or miss as these things go but nothing out of the normal is expected.
Nevertheless, we’ll keep watching and encouraging safety and preparedness for everyone!

Storm Watch:
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Brazoria, Fort Bend, and Walker Counties.
A Tropical Storm Warning has also been issued from Port Bolivar, TX to Vermilion, LA

Hey Folks!
As we usher in September, we Texans know this is the month when things can get spicy.
While this storms spins on in, please stay weather aware, have your home supplies and meds stocked up and get fueled up.
We are monitoring the weather and hoping that the soon named storm doesn’t stall or wobble too much, and will make a quick exit. Expect rain and then some intermittently afterward for a few days.
At an Emergency Preparedness, Centerpoint mtg, it was announced that complete staging for any outages is already taking place.
Landfall is expected tomorrow ,late afternoon/early evening! If you must get out, turn around and don’t drive thru high water! Y’all stay safe!
